What is Juvage?

A mobile application for all your skincare, anti-aging and wellness needs. The app provides users with tailored programs specific to their goals and concerns.

Juvage conveys a sense of youthfulness, vibrancy and renewal. The name evokes a sense of hope, freshness, and optimism, which encompasses the spirit of youth and rejuvenation.

Goals

To create solutions based on a holistic approach to wellness that breaks down preventative care into small chunks. The goal is to equip women with the knowledge they need to make informed decisions about their health.

Who are the users?

6 interviews with women aged 29-44. A Model, Social Worker, Project Manager, Chef, Recruiter and small business owner.

Problem Statement

Women ages 18-70, lack the knowledge and motivation to adopt preventative, anti-aging care when making decisions about their health and wellness.

Key Insights

Multiple skincare and anti-aging websites exist, however, mobile apps that target anti-aging and skincare are limited.

Factors such as stress, anxiety and other mental health issues play a huge role in your physical well-being.

There’s a correlation between what you eat and how that manifests in skin problems. Knowledge is power, the more you know about health and wellness, the better outcomes you’ll have.

Gut health is hugely important for healthy skin and immunity, but users lack the knowledge to prioritise it regularly. Users mostly rely on advice from medical practitioners.

  • 68% of women try to take preventative care of their skin before it experiences any noticeable trauma.

  • The earlier you start looking after yourself and building good habits, the better you’ll age.

Create solutions based on a holistic approach to wellness?

Equip women with the knowledge they need to make informed decisions about their health and keep them accountable over time?

Educate and encourage users to prioritise gut health as a preventative measure for healthy ageing?

Educate users on the importance of mental and physical wellbeing, and make it easy for them to adopt daily?
